“Technology Initiatives in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”
OVERVIEW
The Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean Academic Network (BSEMAN) is a unique platform for academic, scientific and cultural interaction among leading higher educational institutions and scientific centers of the European civilization cradle – Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea region.
The South-Russian Logistics Forum is an annual research and practical forum uniting Russian, European and world leading industrial experts in spheres, including, but not limited to, logistics, supply chain management, transportation, held by Rostov State University of Economics, one of the Russian leaders in business education. In 2019, RSUE has been included in Top 200 world HEIs of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, hence, the topic of the 2019 Forum will cover issues on achieving the SDGs.
OBJECTIVES
- The 1st General Assembly of BSEMAN followed by the Founding Conference on May, 28 2018 in Thessaloniki aims to meet its 3 major objectives: overview the outcomes and results of the 2018-2019 academic year, formulate and adopt the strategic plan of academic network development and set a roadmap for 2019-2020.
- The 15th anniversary South-Russian Logistics Forum presupposes moving beyond logistics and transport problems and considering a broader range of issues related to the world movement of goods and services, factors of production, including human resources in the context of the SDGs achievement, national and regional initiatives in the field of the SDG. The Forum brings together the leading scholars of the Black Sea region and Eastern Mediterranean, as well as invited world leaders in SDGs issues.
